Software Packaging Engineer
Job Summary
Working remotely, the full-time Software Packaging Engineer will build and update software packages in PDQ's library, troubleshoot complex issues, and collaborate with team members to enhance packaging processes across various operating systems.
Key responsibilities
- Add and update packages in PDQ's package library using existing tools and processes
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex package bugs and failures
- Collaborate with team members to improve packaging processes and tools
Required qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in a technical role such as desktop support engineering or system administration
- Experience in a highly regulated industry like government, healthcare, or finance
- Some QA experience; extensive QA experience is a plus
- Ability to work effectively without close supervision
- Exceptional troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
