Job Summary
Leading the design and development of complex systems, the full-time Software Product Engineer will work remotely on a federal government project, focusing on creating scalable cloud-based architectures and AI-enabled healthcare solutions.
Key responsibilities
- Design and build event-driven, data-intensive backend services in Node.js/TypeScript using cloud-native solutions
- Decompose complex healthcare and AI workflows into a microservices architecture with clear service boundaries
- Drive a test-driven development (TDD) practice, ensuring reliability and maintainability of AI-enabled services
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Software Engineering, Artificial Intelligence, or a related technical discipline
- 5+ years of professional software engineering experience, particularly in AI-enabled systems
- Strong hands-on experience with React and Node.js/TypeScript, including building REST APIs and production-grade services
- Experience with AWS data and messaging services for event-driven, data-intensive services
- Demonstrated practice of test-driven development (TDD) and automated testing for production services
