Software Product Owner

Job Summary

Supporting the discovery and delivery of product features, the full-time remote Software Product Owner will manage the product backlog, collaborate with engineering teams, and leverage AI tools to enhance product workflows and customer experiences.

Key responsibilities

• Write and refine user stories with clear success criteria, utilizing AI tools for research and documentation
• Own and prioritize the product backlog, balancing user needs, business impact, and technical considerations
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, scope, and deliver product features, including AI-powered capabilities

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience)
• 1-3 years of experience in product management, project management, or business analysis
• Working knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies and experience in sprint-based development environments
• Hands-on experience using AI tools such as AI-assisted writing or prompt engineering
• Familiarity with SaaS product development
