Software Programs PMO Manager

Job Summary

Leading a team of project managers, the full-time Manager, PMO - Software Programs will oversee the planning and execution of software development projects in a remote environment, ensuring adherence to governance, cross-functional alignment, and successful delivery within scope, schedule, and budget.

Key responsibilities:

• Lead and mentor a team of software-focused project managers to ensure strong project execution and professional growth
• Establish and maintain project governance frameworks that align with business strategy and ensure clear objectives
• Oversee the planning and execution of software development programs from definition through commercialization

Required qualifications:

• 7+ years of experience in project management, including at least 3 years in functional management
• Experience managing and mentoring project managers is preferred
• Strong understanding of software development lifecycles (Agile, hybrid, or waterfall)
• Familiarity with regulatory and quality frameworks relevant to software-based products (e.g., FDA QSR, ISO standards)
• Proven ability to manage complex, cross-functional programs with multiple stakeholders
