Software Project Manager

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Software Project Manager to support the USAID-funded Famine Early Warning Systems Network (FEWS NET) project.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage software development teams and processes, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to Agile methodologies
• Ensure continuous client satisfaction through feedback mechanisms, user acceptance testing, and performance monitoring
• Oversee help desk and user documentation processes, ensuring clarity and usefulness of materials

Required Qualifications:

• Master's degree with at least 6 years of relevant experience, or Bachelor's degree with at least 8 years of relevant experience
• Experience managing complex software development projects with front-end and back-end components, preferably using Django and/or React
• Proven expertise in Agile software development methodologies and project management practices
• Demonstrated ability to exercise sound technical judgment in complex software development environments
• Expert knowledge and/or certification in Scrum / Agile software development processes
