Software QA Engineer

Job Summary

Detail-oriented and quality-driven, the full-time Software QA Engineer II will design and execute comprehensive test strategies, perform manual testing, and ensure product reliability in a remote healthcare environment.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and execute detailed test plans and cases with a focus on manual validation of complex features
• Perform thorough functional, integration, and end-to-end testing across all stages of the software development lifecycle
• Conduct exploratory testing to identify edge cases and usability issues, while managing defects and collaborating with cross-functional teams

Required qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience in software quality assurance with a strong emphasis on manual testing
• Deep understanding of QA methodologies, SDLC, and manual testing best practices
• Proven experience designing and executing detailed manual test cases and exploratory testing strategies
• Strong SQL skills for backend and database validation
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in computer science, engineering, information technology, or a related field
