Software QA Engineer

Job Summary

Working remotely as a mid-level Software QA Engineer, the candidate will collaborate with engineers and product teams to ensure software reliability through testing, issue investigation, and the use of AI tools for test scenario development.

Key responsibilities

• Review requirements and create, maintain, and execute comprehensive test cases covering various scenarios
• Utilize Claude Code to generate and refine test scenarios, investigate defects, and support automated testing efforts
• Document and track defects, communicate testing progress, and ensure compliance with data-handling guidelines

Required qualifications

• 0-5 years of experience in software quality assurance, testing, or development
• Working knowledge of SQL for data validation and application behavior investigation
• Experience with issue and test management tools such as Jira and XRay
• Familiarity with automated testing tools or frameworks and an interest in enhancing automation skills
• Understanding of responsible data handling and protection of sensitive information during testing
