Software QA Engineering Manager

Job Summary

Leading a team of software quality engineers, the full-time Software QA Engineering Manager will oversee QA activities and SDLC workflows for medical device software applications, ensuring compliance with quality management standards while collaborating with cross-functional engineering teams.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage overall Software QA activities and promote industry SDLC best practices
• Develop, maintain, and approve QA processes to ensure high-quality product delivery
• Coordinate development and testing activities with various application and software development teams

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; Master's degree or MBA preferred
• At least ten years of experience in Software Quality Assurance with client server and web applications
• Experience managing geographically distributed teams on multiple concurrent development projects
• Strong project management experience; PMP certification preferred
• Experience in an FDA regulated environment and with testing custom cloud-hosted applications preferred
