Software QA Engineering Manager

Job Summary

Leading a team of software quality engineers, the full-time salaried Software QA Engineering Manager will oversee QA activities and processes for medical device software applications, ensuring compliance with quality management standards and promoting best practices throughout the development lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage Software QA activities and SDLC workflow for medical device software applications
• Develop, maintain, and approve QA processes to ensure high-quality product delivery
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to coordinate development and testing activities, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; Master's degree or MBA preferred
• At least ten years of experience in Software Quality Assurance for client-server and web applications
• Experience managing geographically distributed teams across multiple development projects
• Strong project management experience, with PMP certification preferred
• Experience in an FDA regulated environment and with testing custom cloud-hosted applications preferred
