Software Quality Assurance Analyst

Job Summary

Seeking a full-time remote Software Quality Assurance Analyst, the successful candidate will manage ongoing functional testing for web-based applications, create detailed test plans, and report defects while collaborating with team members to enhance product quality.

Key responsibilities:

• Conduct ongoing functional testing of enhancements and defects for web-based applications and document production software
• Assume ownership of testing for multiple customer projects and create detailed test plans and test cases
• Report, track, and analyze defects while communicating progress to management and providing 2nd tier customer support as needed

Required qualifications:

• 2+ years of experience in software quality assurance
• Proven capability in test planning, test case creation, and documentation
• Strong communication skills to convey concepts and updates to various personnel
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively across teams
• Familiarity with the Waterfall development concept
