Software Quality Assurance Engineer

Job Summary

To support quality assurance initiatives, the full-time Software Quality Assurance Engineer will deliver automated solutions, coordinate testing activities, and collaborate with development teams in a remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Design and execute QA tests for various software processes, identifying bugs and quality issues
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure quality needs are met and provide training to the test team
• Track testing activities and report on defects, ensuring compliance with quality standards

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or Business Management, or four years of related experience in lieu of a degree
• At least 3 years of experience in quality assurance testing
• Proficiency in at least two technical competencies such as Selenium, .NET, SQL, or JavaScript
• Understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and experience with both waterfall and agile methodologies
• Ability to create and run database queries and develop functional test cases
