Software Quality Assurance Engineer

Job Summary

To ensure the reliability and performance of software products, the full-time Software Quality Assurance Engineer will design and implement test plans, execute manual and automated tests, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve defects prior to release.

Key responsibilities

• Create and execute detailed test plans and scripts tailored to project requirements
• Conduct functional, regression, API, performance, and user interface testing while tracking quality assurance metrics
• Collaborate with business and technical analysts, developers, and stakeholders to clarify requirements and ensure product quality

Required qualifications

• 5-10 years of experience in software quality assurance and testing
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
• Expertise in functional and non-functional testing best practices
• Strong understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and IT Governance
• Experience with SQL and familiarity with tools like Jira and Confluence is a plus
