Software Quality Assurance Engineer
Job Summary
Detail-oriented and skilled, the full-time remote Software Quality Assurance Engineer will lead end-to-end testing efforts, create automated testing frameworks, and ensure the quality and reliability of software applications.
Key responsibilities
- Lead functional, integration, regression, and performance testing across sprint cycles
- Create comprehensive test plans and automated regression test suites based on product requirements
- Collaborate with development teams to identify, log, and prioritize bugs, ensuring quick resolutions
Required qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in test automation and quality assurance for JVM and/or web-based software products
- Hands-on experience developing test automation scripts for web applications and REST APIs
- Proficient in at least one RDBMS such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, or Oracle
- Strong experience with automation frameworks like Playwright, Cypress, or Selenium
- Conversant in Python scripting and coding
