Software Quality Assurance Engineer
Job Summary
To support the delivery of reliable web applications, the full-time Software Quality Assurance Engineer will create and execute test cases, participate in Agile development processes, and collaborate with remote development teams to identify and validate software issues throughout the release cycle.
Key Responsibilities
- Participate in Agile meetings, providing QA insight and feedback on story requirements and acceptance criteria
- Write and execute clear, effective test cases based on acceptance criteria and perform acceptance and regression testing
- Collaborate with QA Automation Engineers and remote developers to support test coverage and issue resolution
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
- 1+ years of experience testing web applications in a professional or comparable environment
- Foundational understanding of software quality assurance principles and defect life cycles
- Experience performing acceptance testing, regression testing, and defect verification
- Familiarity with Agile development practices, including sprint planning and daily standups
