Software Quality Assurance Engineer
Job Summary
The full-time remote Software Quality Assurance Engineer will test product specifications, shape testable acceptance criteria, and write and execute test plans while collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure quality and reduce defects before release.
Key responsibilities
- Testing assigned specifications and serving as a quality owner throughout the development process
- Shaping acceptance criteria for testability and collaborating with product teams during refinement
- Writing and executing test plans, including manual and automated testing, to validate new features and fixes
Required qualifications
- BS/BA in a relevant field or equivalent practical experience
- 4+ years of experience in software quality assurance or testing, preferably on enterprise-level applications
- Proficiency with automated UI test tools such as Selenium, Playwright, or Cypress
- Experience with Postman, REST Assured, or similar tools for validating backend services
- Strong experience writing test plans and validating new features and fixes
