Software Quality Assurance Technician

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Software Quality Assurance Technician.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and execute detailed test plans, test cases, and test scripts for complex applications
• Perform advanced manual and automated testing, including functional, regression, integration, and user acceptance testing
• Work cross-functionally with software developers, product owners, and DevOps teams to ensure quality in the development lifecycle

Required Qualifications

• Associate or Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
• Typically 2 years of experience in software quality assurance or software testing
• Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies and proficiency with test management and defect tracking tools
• Hands-on experience with test automation tools and frameworks
• Ability to read and understand technical documentation and basic code
