Software Quality Assurance Tester
Job Summary
To support the delivery of reliable web applications, the full-time Software Quality Assurance Tester will create and execute test cases, participate in Agile development processes, and collaborate with remote development teams to identify and validate software issues throughout the release cycle.
Key Responsibilities
- Participate in sprint planning and Agile meetings, providing QA insights on story requirements and acceptance criteria
- Write and execute clear, effective test cases that align with acceptance criteria and perform acceptance testing during sprint cycles
- Collaborate with QA Automation Engineers and remote developers to support test coverage, defect validation, and release readiness
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or equivalent practical experience
- 1+ years of experience testing web applications in a professional or comparable environment
- Foundational understanding of software quality assurance principles, test planning, and defect life cycles
- Experience performing acceptance testing, regression testing, and defect verification
- Familiarity with Agile development practices, including sprint planning and daily standups
