Software Quality Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Software Quality Engineer I.

Key Responsibilities

• Create and execute test cases based on product requirements and user workflows
• Identify, document, and track defects while partnering with developers to isolate root causes
• Support test bench setup and maintenance for reliable validation and capture logs for issue reproduction

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related discipline
• 0-2 years of experience in software/system testing, including internships or co-ops
• Familiarity with software test fundamentals and ability to work in Linux and/or Windows environments
• Exposure to scripting or programming, preferably in Python
• Experience testing software on hardware devices and/or embedded platforms is a plus
