Software Quality Engineer

Job Summary

Developing and maintaining complex test suites for layered products on the OpenShift platform, the full-time Software Quality Engineer will triage and debug testing failures while collaborating with product teams on root cause analysis in a remote capacity.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, improve, and maintain testing automation and tooling
• Report and track bugs and issues using corporate tracking tools
• Collaborate with internal and external teams on test process improvement

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field
• Three years of experience in software quality engineering or a related role
• Two years of experience debugging container-related issues and writing quality test scripts
• Experience working with cloud-native or container-based application platforms and virtualization products
• One year of experience with defect tracking and test management tools
