Software Quality Engineer

Job Summary

Focusing on ensuring data accuracy and driving automation strategies, the full-time Software Quality Engineer will develop and enhance testing frameworks, document test scripts, and collaborate with cross-functional teams in a remote work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement functional end-to-end test strategies while collaborating with business analysts and developers
• Create scalable automation frameworks for data validation and integrate them into CI/CD pipelines
• Investigate data discrepancies and mentor junior QA engineers on best practices in data testing and automation

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, MIS, Business, or a related field, or equivalent experience
• 5-8+ years of experience in Software Quality Engineering with a focus on functional and regression testing
• Proficiency in test automation, preferably using Cypress, and experience with API and backend testing
• Strong understanding of relational databases such as PostgreSQL or MySQL
• Experience in Agile/Scrum and CI/CD environments
