Software Quality Manager

Job Summary

Leading a team of Test Engineers and Technical Writers, the full-time remote Software Quality Manager will oversee testing and documentation services for multiple engineering teams, ensuring high-quality software delivery and fostering a culture of quality and documentation across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to align on testing and documentation needs while balancing project goals
• Driving execution to meet SLAs and track key performance metrics, actively unblocking work as needed
• Coaching team members, conducting performance reviews, and promoting a productive and inclusive work culture

Required qualifications

• Demonstrated engineering experience in a technical management or leadership role
• Strong hands-on experience with software development using languages such as Go, Python, or PHP
• Proven track record of managing teams providing centralized services like quality assurance and technical documentation
• Experience managing diverse teams with varying goals and effectively prioritizing tasks
• Established success in working with multicultural, remote, and distributed teams
