Software Strategic Sourcing Advisor

Job Summary

To support mid-size to large software sourcing engagements, the full-time remote Software Strategic Sourcing Advisor will lead projects involving software cloud and on-premise license negotiations, cost modeling, and strategic sourcing analysis while collaborating with clients to develop effective sourcing strategies.

Key responsibilities

• Lead software sourcing engagements through negotiation strategy development and execution with clients
• Conduct quantitative analysis and create financial models to inform negotiation strategies
• Interface with clients to assess software requirements and propose tailored advisory solutions

Required qualifications

• Minimum of 7 years of experience in software strategic sourcing, focusing on cloud and on-premise solutions
• Strong expertise in SAP or Microsoft software ecosystems
• Proficient in advanced Excel skills for financial and price modeling
• Bachelor's degree in a technical or scientific field or equivalent work experience
• Demonstrated experience negotiating agreements with leading software vendors
