Software Strategic Sourcing Manager

Job Summary

Overseeing the end-to-end strategic sourcing and contract lifecycle for enterprise and specialty software, the full-time Software Strategic Sourcing Manager will lead complex negotiations, drive licensing optimization, and manage key supplier relationships, with opportunities for remote work.

Key responsibilities:

• Lead strategic sourcing for new software purchases, managing RFx processes and negotiating enterprise agreements
• Own renewal management for existing software contracts, optimizing terms and right-sizing licenses prior to expiration
• Analyze utilization data to identify cost savings through license optimization and consolidation in partnership with technical teams

Required qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree required
• 5 years of experience in procurement strategic sourcing and supplier management
• Direct experience negotiating software and SaaS agreements
• Deep knowledge of software licensing models
• Strong analytical capabilities with spend data and utilization metrics
