Software Systems Engineer
Job Summary
Providing specialized expertise in various software disciplines, the remote Software Systems Engineer will perform in-depth analysis, technical support, and operational integration of systems software products while assisting in the planning and conversion for new hardware/software.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct complex problem resolution, design, development, testing, and user support for systems software products
- Assist in planning and evaluating operating systems for performance analysis, capacity planning, and hardware upgrades
- Interface with customers to gather information on system requirements or problems and prepare product documentation
Required qualifications
- Eight (8) years of experience in a relevant field such as Computer Science, Engineering, or Information Systems/Technology
- Experience with Ab Initio development
- Relevant certification from a nationally recognized technical authority
- Must possess a Moderate Risk, Confidential, Non-Critical Sensitive investigation at the time of proposal
- DoD Approved 8570 Baseline Certification: Category IAT Level I
