Job Summary

A company is looking for a Software Test Engineer.

Key Responsibilities:

Write test cases and potentially run and write test automation scripts
Perform detailed analysis of test results and adjust test cases accordingly
Provide bug prevention or proactive testing through product specification reviews

Required Qualifications:

1-2 years of work-related experience
Demonstrated ability to define and use common terms and concepts for at least one operating system and environment
Beginner to intermediate level knowledge of one or more scripting languages (JavaScript, VBScript, Perl Script or Windows batch files)
Working knowledge of networking protocols (TCP/IP), hardware, debugging, and operating systems preferred
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Engineering, and/or experience with testing preferred
