Software Test Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Sr. Software Test Engineer to validate and ensure the reliability of its messaging platform.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases for messaging services and features
• Perform functional, regression, scale, and high availability testing across the messaging platform
• Collaborate with development teams to design scalable architectures and troubleshoot performance issues

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Software Test Engineer or related role
• Strong understanding of TCP/IP protocols and network security concepts
• Proficiency in Linux/Unix environments and scripting languages like Bash and Python
• Experience with container technologies and testing distributed databases in Kubernetes
