Software Test Engineer

Job Summary

Supporting the Department of the Navy's initiatives, the full-time salaried Software Test Engineer will execute unit, functional, and regression testing to ensure application functionality and assist in risk management practices while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Execute various testing phases, including unit, functional, and regression testing, to identify defects and validate application readiness
• Document and report software defects, collaborating closely with developers for timely resolutions and supporting Government Acceptance Testing activities
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and maintain accurate testing documentation, including test plans and defect reports

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred
• 1-3 years of relevant experience
• Current credentials in information technology and software development practices preferred
• Familiarity with Agile software development practices
• U.S. citizenship and ability to pass a background investigation at the T3 level required
