Software Test Engineer

Job Summary

Working remotely on a full-time contract basis, the Software Test Engineer will design, implement, and maintain robust test frameworks for back-end services, ensuring product quality through comprehensive test case automation and cross-functional collaboration.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement automated tests while performing functional and regression testing
• Identify potential bugs and isolate existing issues in back-end services and large data sets
• Collaborate with Engineering, Product Management, and Project teams to uphold product quality throughout the development lifecycle

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or a related technical field preferred
• Experience with Java, SQL, and Python; familiarity with AWS data tools is a plus
• Proven experience in software testing, quality assurance, or test automation within backend systems
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and creative thinking skills
• Commitment to maintaining technical quality assurance as part of the development process
