Software Test Engineer

Job Summary

Working remotely in a full-time capacity, the Software Test Engineer will be a key quality advocate on a cross-functional product team, responsible for test planning, exploratory testing, and automation to ensure high-quality software delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with engineers, designers, and product managers to define acceptance criteria and plan sprint testing activities
• Lead exploratory and risk-based testing to identify defects prior to customer release
• Contribute to automated regression test suites and maintain testing environments within your area of ownership

Required qualifications

• 2+ years of hands-on software testing experience
• Working knowledge of Agile development practices
• Solid grounding in software quality assurance processes and tools
• Experience with SQL for issue investigation and testing efficiency
• An Associate's degree, coding bootcamp, or equivalent experience in IT or Computer Science
