Software Test Engineer
Job Summary
To support FDA applications and digital solutions, the fully remote Software Test Engineer will plan, develop, execute, and document software testing activities while collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure quality standards and compliance with requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Review requirements and develop comprehensive test scenarios and test cases
- Execute manual and automated test scripts for various testing types, including regression and user acceptance testing
- Identify, document, and track defects using JIRA, ensuring resolution and maintaining traceability throughout the software development life cycle
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, or related discipline
- Three plus years of experience in software testing or quality assurance activities
- Experience developing and executing detailed test plans, test cases, and test scripts
- Proficient with JIRA or similar defect tracking tools and Agile/Scrum methodologies
- Experience supporting Section 508 accessibility testing and validation
