Software Test Engineer
Job Summary
To support critical national security missions, the full-time remote Software Test Engineer will manage software testing planning, execution, and reporting while providing oversight to junior testers and ensuring adherence to quality standards.
Key responsibilities
- Manage the planning, design, execution, and reporting of software tests, including supervising junior testers
- Review business and software requirements for gaps and testability, and prepare test plans, cases, and scripts
- Analyze test results, track defects, and support the creation of test reports while coordinating with the software development team
Required qualifications
- Active secret clearance is mandatory
- Bachelor's degree with 8 years of experience or a high school diploma with 13 years of experience in software testing
- Experience in software configuration management and understanding of software components and their interfaces
- Proficiency in both manual and automated software testing across various levels
- Ability to assist with business development activities, including technical documentation and proposal support
