Software Test Engineer
Job Summary
To support software testing initiatives, the remote Software Test Engineer will conduct testing with external state jurisdiction partners, execute test plans, and document results, with an on-site preference of 1 to 2 times per month in Arlington, VA.
Key responsibilities
- Execute test plans and verify results for software testing projects
- Conduct defect logging, tracking, and status reporting to both internal teams and external stakeholders
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze and resolve customer issues effectively
Required qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in a Quality Assurance software tester role, focusing on external testing and UAT
- Proficiency in manual and automated testing methodologies
- Experience testing RESTful web services
- Strong client/vendor management experience with excellent communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
