Software Tester

Job Summary

Managing the full testing lifecycle, the remote contract Tester III will lead application testing efforts, develop data-driven test plans, and ensure compliance with quality standards and accessibility requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the full testing lifecycle, including requirements gathering, test plan design, and hazard analysis documentation
• Lead application testing efforts utilizing expertise in SDLC, SQL, and automated testing frameworks such as Selenium
• Develop and execute data-driven test plans and ensure system integrity through quality control and performance testing

Required qualifications

• Minimum of six years of experience in application design, development, or testing
• At least six years of experience in developing and managing test plans and requirements documentation
• Five or more years of experience with standards and quality control procedures for testing implementation
• Strong SQL skills for retrieving and updating test data
• Proven leadership experience, including managing contractor staff and guiding testing teams
