Software Tester

Job Summary

Joining a dynamic Development Team, the remote Manual Tester will engage in thorough testing of web applications, apply test automation techniques, and maintain clear communication with stakeholders during a 6-month fixed-term contract.

Key responsibilities:

• Thoroughly test web applications for cross-platform compatibility and user experience
• Record and monitor issues, maintaining communication with development teams for troubleshooting
• Create and maintain comprehensive test documentation to support knowledge sharing

Required qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years' hands-on experience in QA with web-based applications
• Solid working knowledge of test automation, preferably with Selenium WebDriver
• Experience with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
• Familiarity with Behaviour Driven Development (BDD) practices
• ISEB/ISTQB Foundation Certificate in Software Testing
