Software Testing Technician
Job Summary
To support the Department of Veterans Affairs, the full-time remote Software Testing Technician will assess software quality through manual and automated testing, collaborating with developers and end users to create test plans and document bugs.
Key responsibilities
- Build and execute test plans and test cases based on user stories
- Document testing results and communicate defects to the development team
- Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to the full testing process
Required qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 0 - 1 year of experience in information technology
- Knowledge of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile methodology
- Familiarity with Jira and ServiceNow Ticketing System (SNOW)
- Understanding of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and test case development
