Software Verification Engineer

Job Summary

Seeking a remote Software Verification Engineer, the position focuses on verifying and validating software for safety-critical embedded systems in aerospace and defense programs, ensuring compliance with DO-178C standards and addressing complexities of multicore architectures.

Key responsibilities

• Verify and validate software running on RTOS-based, multicore SoC architectures
• Conduct integration, system testing, and software verification (HLR/LLR) in complex hardware/software environments
• Ensure compliance with DO-178C and alignment with system-level requirements

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in software engineering or a related engineering discipline
• 2+ years of experience in avionics or electronic controls embedded development in safety or mission-critical environments
• Experience with RTOS and developing software to DO-178C standards
• Proficiency in C and Python programming languages
• Experience with integration and testing at both system levels and software testing (HLR/LLR)
