Software Verification Engineer

Job Summary

Seeking a remote Software Verification Engineer, the position focuses on verifying and validating software for safety-critical embedded systems in aerospace and defense programs, ensuring compliance with DO-178C standards and managing integration and system testing in complex hardware/software environments.

Key responsibilities

• Verify and validate software on RTOS-based, multicore SoC architectures
• Ensure compliance with DO-178C and alignment to system-level requirements
• Conduct integration and system testing, including software verification (HLR/LLR)

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in software engineering or a related engineering discipline
• 2+ years of experience in avionics or electronic controls embedded development in a safety or mission-critical environment
• Experience with RTOS development and familiarity with RTOS concepts
• Proficiency in C and Python programming languages
• Experience with system-level integration and software testing (HLR/LLR)
