Solar Design Support Specialist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Solar Design Support Specialist to manage new construction residential solar projects and ensure timely design document requests and reviews.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage accurate project documentation and file management
• Review architectural and builder files for solar design and system compatibility
• Perform system simulations and energy yield calculations

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field with a minimum of 5+ years of professional experience, including 3+ years in solar design or renewable energy
• Strong understanding of solar energy principles and technologies
• Basic understanding of electrical principles, civil, architectural, and structural design elements
• Strong understanding of PV and Battery systems, electrical components, and PV Production analysis
• Travel may be required up to 10%, depending on business needs
