Solar Energy Data Analyst

Job Summary

Supporting the monitoring and optimization of Solar and Energy Storage systems, the full-time Solar Energy Data Analyst will analyze real-time data, identify performance anomalies, and collaborate with technical teams to enhance system efficiency in a remote work environment.

Key responsibilities:

• Monitor real-time data from Solar and Energy Storage sites to identify anomalies and performance deviations
• Analyze system performance metrics to ensure optimal efficiency and compliance with industry standards
• Utilize data visualization tools to present insights effectively to management and engineering teams

Required qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years' experience with machine learning applications for predictive maintenance in PV and BESS systems
• Electrical engineering degree or electrical license with two years of solar operations and maintenance experience
• Strong proficiency in data analysis tools such as Python, SQL, Excel, and visualization platforms (Power BI, Tableau)
• Familiarity with SCADA systems and renewable energy asset management software
• Knowledge of grid-scale energy storage operations and regulatory frameworks
