Solar Project Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Solar Project Engineer to support the development process of solar PV projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage engineering aspects of solar PV projects, including design, optimization, and permitting
• Coordinate with third-party engineering partners to ensure timely task completion
• Develop PV layouts and create detailed production forecasts using specialized software

Required Qualifications

• BS in electrical, mechanical, civil, or relevant engineering field; experience may substitute for degree
• 5+ years of experience in designing and managing solar projects
• Knowledge of national codes and standards related to solar design and installation
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, PVsyst, and Microsoft Office Suite; experience with additional solar modeling tools is a plus
• Unrestricted authorization to work in the U.S. and a valid driver's license
