Solar Quality Engineer
Job Summary
Seeking a full-time remote Solar Quality Engineer, the successful candidate will manage the QA/QC framework across construction sites, conduct field audits, and ensure compliance with the National Electrical Code (NEC) while overseeing system commissioning and Non-Conformance Report (NCR) processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Own and manage the internal Quality Assurance Plan and review EPC provided Quality Control Plans
- Conduct rigorous field audits and manage all third-party site quality inspections
- Facilitate Independent Engineer site quality inspections and oversee installation and commissioning of solar systems
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of solar-specific QA/QC experience with an owner-developer, Independent Engineer firm, or tier-1 EPC contractor
- Deep understanding of the solar industry and familiarity with utility interconnection processes
- NABCEP certification or equivalent, with OSHA 30 strongly preferred
- Experience in achieving positive construction results in renewable energy projects
- Preferred drone operating experience
