Solidworks Drafter

Job Summary

Solidworks Drafter, a contract position, is responsible for creating and maintaining SolidWorks 3D CAD models and engineering drawings for advanced reactor design work, requiring 4+ years of SolidWorks experience and strong GD&T knowledge.

Key Responsibilities

• Create structural and mechanical design solutions, 3D CAD models, and engineering drawings for reactor structures and components
• Produce robust CAD models and conduct trade studies to identify optimal design options
• Perform tolerance stack-up calculations and maintain configuration control using PDM software

Required Qualifications

• 4+ years of relevant experience with proficiency in SolidWorks CAD system
• Experience using product data management (PDM) software
• Proven ability to produce engineering and fabrication drawings in SolidWorks
• Experience with Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) per ASME Y14.5
• Background in Mechanical and Machine Design
