SolidWorks Drafter

Job Summary

Supporting advanced reactor design work, the contract SolidWorks Drafter will create and maintain 3D CAD models and engineering drawings, perform tolerance stack-ups, and document design changes while working onsite in Bellevue, with remote options available for exceptionally qualified candidates.

Key responsibilities

• Create structural and mechanical design solutions, 3D CAD models, and engineering drawings for reactor structures and components
• Produce robust CAD models to facilitate fast-paced design evolution and derivative creation using advanced modeling techniques
• Conduct trade studies and document progress, changes, and decisions through collaboration platforms

Required qualifications

• 4+ years of relevant experience with proficiency in SolidWorks CAD system
• Experience using product data management (PDM) software
• Strong understanding of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) per ASME Y14.5
• Proven ability to produce engineering and fabrication drawings in SolidWorks
• Background in Mechanical and Machine Design
