Job Summary
Managing mainframe storage operations remotely, the full-time Solution Architect will optimize SMS/DASD utilization, perform compliance reporting, and oversee disaster recovery activities while ensuring system reliability and stability.
Key responsibilities
- Perform daily mainframe storage activities using z/OS tools and commands
- Monitor and adjust SMS pools for efficient resource utilization and submit incidents for storage reliability
- Execute disaster recovery procedures and coordinate hardware maintenance for EMC/Dell systems
Required qualifications
- US Citizenship
- Active USPS Clearance
- EMC/Dell storage administration experience within the past 5 years
- IBM Mainframe systems programming and administration experience within the past 5 years
- Strong experience with DT storage and DLM
