Solutions Architect

Job Summary

To support a federal customer, the full-time remote Solutions Architect will assess current state architecture, develop future state plans, and oversee cloud infrastructure design while ensuring alignment with CMS enterprise architecture standards.

Key responsibilities:

• Own the technical architecture for systems within the CMS AWS environment, ensuring scalability and security
• Design cloud-native architectures for high-volume batch processing and lead cloud optimization initiatives
• Collaborate with CMS architecture teams to align with technical reference architectures and governance standards

Required qualifications:

• 10+ years of experience in federal technology solutioning architecture
• Proven success in leading complex solution efforts in the federal health domain
• Deep experience in application modernization and enterprise cloud deployments
• Demonstrated ability to develop architectural artifacts and guide technical decisions
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or Information Systems
