Job Summary

Experienced pre-sales professionals will find a full-time Solutions Architect, Retail opportunity focused on defining and directing technical strategies for large enterprises in the Retail and CPG sectors, working closely with clients to adopt and implement data-driven solutions while mentoring team members.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the main technical voice for 1-5 key clients, guiding them through the adoption of Databricks solutions
• Lead customers on their transformational journey by evaluating and implementing technical strategies aligned with their business goals
• Build a network of technical champions within client accounts and provide structured mentorship to team members

Required qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in the Retail and CPG sectors with large accounts generating over $1 million ARR
• 3+ years in a pre-sales role or supporting sales activities
• Technical expertise in big data, data science, and cloud technologies
• Experience in designing and implementing big data technologies such as Hadoop, NoSQL, MPP, OLTP, and OLAP
• Production programming experience in Python, R, Scala, or Java
