Solutions Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Solutions Engineer to provide pre-sales technical support for complex products and applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide technical expertise to sales staff and customers through presentations and demonstrations
• Assist in assessing customer needs and prepare detailed product specifications for solutions
• Build mini-applications based on customer requirements to demonstrate feasibility

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of related experience with a Bachelor's degree, or 3 years with a Master's degree, or a PhD without experience
• Equivalent work experience may also be considered
• Must be on a sales incentive plan tied to individual and/or team sales results
• Demonstrated ability to resolve a wide range of issues creatively
• Experience in networking with senior internal and external personnel in the area of expertise
