Solutions Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Solutions Engineer for the West Coast.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver solutions around Apache Airflow and the Astronomer platform to customers and partners
• Educate and guide customers on Airflow best practices and perform code assessments
• Collaborate with team members to design and implement engineering solutions while optimizing customer data workflows

Required Qualifications

• 3-5 years of data-engineering experience, preferably with Apache Airflow in production environments
• Experience creating DAGs, writing Python, and building Airflow custom operators and hooks
• Knowledge of implementing ETL/ELT pipelines and optimizing data workflows
• Familiarity with related products such as Cloudera, Databricks, Snowflake, and cloud platforms
• Empathetic and team-oriented with strong prioritization skills
