Solutions Engineer

Job Summary

To support a growing technical team, the full-time remote Solutions Engineer will drive technical discovery, deliver developer-focused evaluations, and guide prospects through solution design and identity architecture decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Lead discovery sessions to uncover technical requirements and build tailored architectural recommendations
• Run hands-on demos and support structured proofs of concept, including integration patterns and environment setup
• Advise on FusionAuth hosting tiers and assist with customer environments, ensuring alignment with compliance and security requirements

Required qualifications

• 4+ years of software development or engineering experience
• 2+ years in pre-sales, customer-facing engineering, or technical consulting
• Hands-on experience with IAM protocols such as OAuth, OIDC, SAML, MFA, and SSO
• Familiarity with modern programming frameworks (JS/TS, Python, Java, Go)
• Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, GCP, or Azure
