Solutions Engineer

Job Summary

Working remotely in a full-time capacity, the Solutions Engineer will lead technical pre-sales relationships, assist sales teams with product demonstrations and proof of concepts, and advocate for customer needs while collaborating with product development teams.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with sales teams and prospects to evaluate and adopt Algolia solutions
• Conduct technical discovery, demos, and proof of concepts to support the sales process
• Gather and relay customer feedback to product and engineering teams to enhance product development

Required qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in a customer-facing technical role, preferably in the SaaS industry
• Previous software development experience in front-end (JavaScript, TypeScript, React) or back-end (Java, Ruby, Go, Node, Python, Swift/Objective-C) technologies
• Familiarity with data formats and data transformation
• Experience working in high-growth environments with annual recurring revenue between $150-300M
• Strong organizational skills to manage multiple customer demands effectively
